FOR THE ONE is about shaping the heart of a Christ follower in how we give of ourselves. Our primary goal is for 100 percent of our people to have a life-changing encounter with God as it relates to their generosity. When Jesus was with his disciples he spoke more on the connection between money and faith than any other topic.
Whether you've never given anything before, or you are a consistent giver, there is always a next step God is asking you to take in the area of generosity. We invite and challenge everyone who calls Northview home to take a personal journey with us and learn what God might have for you as it relates to generosity.
A Note from Pastor Nathan
Six years ago we embarked on a journey together as a church to build a bridge into the world outside the church and reach our neighbors for Christ like never before. Our hope was that by giving the tangible gift of a community center to our neighbors to use, that we could multiply the opportunities we had to share the hope we have in Jesus. We prayed for God to “Open the Door” and that He did! Since we opened the doors of the Center we have a seen a 450% increase in baptisms and a 200% increase in the weekend church attendance!
I am blown away by what God has done, but hear me when I say this: I truly believe that we are just getting started! God is calling us to the next step in the journey because there are still more people who need to hear the Good News! Christ’s love compels us to continue in our efforts to find lost sheep, bring them home into His church. Until Jesus returns our goal must always be: one more. There’s more to reach, there’s always one more!

FOR THE ONE is about shaping the heart of a Christ follower in how we give of ourselves. We want every single person to take his or her next step in discipleship and grow in generosity. Whether you’ve never given anything before, or you are a consistent giver, there is always a next step God is asking you to take in the area of generosity.
SECONDARY GOAL
7.5 million in 2 years
This will include ongoing commitments to all the existing ministries of the church. This is two years of our general budget which sustains and supports all of our ministries, missions, staffing, administration, and facility maintenance. In addition to the general budget, we will be adding a multipurpose gym to serve both the community and our growing ministries.

MULTI-PURPOSE GYM
This will add a multipurpose gym to The Center, completing our original vision for a multipurpose ministry space that could impact our community for decades. The gym not only adds one the most desirable amenities to our community, more importantly, it provides a critically needed space for our rapidly growing kids and student ministries to expand into.
How it works
The For the One initiative is a two-year journey. During these two years, every gift given to Northview will be used both to continue our ongoing ministries and to invest in the vision God has given us for the future. Both priorities will be part of a single budget, set by the elders, in response to commitments we make during the For the One initiative.
